Missionaries

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

-Mark 16:15

Daniel & Jennifer Post

Serving in St. Quentin, New Brunswick

God worked through people and circumstances in Dan’s life to bring him to the Lord.  In his home town of Nampa, Idaho there were not many Gospel preaching churches.  Someone reached his sixteen year old cousin and she received Christ as her Saviour and her life completely changed.  Dan’s Dad led his family to begin attending Bible Baptist Church and soon enrolled his two sons in the Christian academy.  After several months of hearing the Gospel preached and memorizing Scripture at school, Dan’s older brother accepted Christ.  The day after, he asked Dan the question “are you saved?”  “Sure I am” was his response, but he knew he was not.  God convicted his heart and he admitted that he had never received Christ.  After reading a Gospel tract together, he accepted Christ as his Saviour.  It was as if a light was turned on and all the Scripture he was memorizing at the time (John 3:1-16) made perfect sense!

At the age of 18 Dan enrolled at Oklahoma Baptist College where he graduated four years later.  During his time there, he was called to preach and called to be a missionary.  He met Jennifer Wesson, the love of his life, at OBC. Jennifer grew up in a Christian home, but accepted the Lord as her Saviour while she was in college.  She also surrendered her life to the Lord as a missionary while at OBC, and upon graduation Dan and Jennifer were married.  God has blessed them with five boys, three daughters-in-law, two grandchildren , for which they are very thankful.

God allowed them to serve Him sixteen years in the Ivory Coast, West Africa, and during this time, started two churches and helped another missionary start a church.  All three churches are autonomous and serving the Lord today.  God moved them to French Speaking Canada and they are currently starting the Grace Baptist Church in St-Quentin, New Brunswick.  They are so thankful for the people and circumstances that God has put in their lives to bring them to Him and to help them to serve Him!

GAGE & ALEAH GILBERT

Serving in Greenland

From the age of four, Gage was raised in a Christian home. A few years later, he became a pastor’s son. At the age of 15, Gage understood his personal need for salvation and accepted Christ during a revival meeting. He was then baptized the following Sunday. Sensing God’s call to be a church planting missionary, Gage attended CAMP BIMI the next summer and God confirmed his call and introduced him to the needy country of Greenland. Aleah was also raised in a Christian home. At the age of five, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. When she was eight, Aleah dedicated her life to God. Until the age of 13, fear had kept her from being baptized; however, the Holy Spirit worked in her heart and she stepped out in faith and obedience. Gage and Aleah met at and graduated from Ambassador Baptist College. Through several mission trips, including one to Baffin Island, Canada, God confirmed to Gage His call to the Inuit people of Greenland. Gage and Aleah were married June 3, 2017, and were accepted by BIMI December 4, 2017. They are currently on full-time deputation and are thrilled about sharing Christ with the people of Greenland.
